The Memorial of Holocaust Victims in Romania

Located on the crossroad of Brezoianu, Lipscani, Anghel Saligny, and Mihai Vodă streets, behind Bucharest City Hall, inaugurated on October 8, 2009, on the occasion of the commemoration of Holocaust Day in Romania.

More than 4500 volumes, books, and periodicals can be consulted physically at the premises of our institute. Their list can be consulted online, along with the library’s contact details and opening hours.

Information on the Holocaust in Romania

The application provides history teachers with a database on the Holocaust in Romania. The educational project was funded by a grant from the Conference of Jewish Material Claims.
