Imagini din trecut. Holocaustul în Sibiu
Images of the Past. The Holocaust in Sibiu
Robbed, mistreated, forced to surrender their businesses, evicted from their homes—these are just some of the measures to which the Jews of Sibiu were subjected during the National Legionary State. Later, during the Holocaust, Jews from all over the country were brought to the county in forced labor detachments.
During the same period, the Roma in the county were forced to leave the communities where they had been integrated and were deported to Transnistria, where they endured inhumane living conditions.
