Imagini din trecut. Holocaustul în Bihor
Images of the Past. The Holocaust in Bihor

September 1940, with the Vienna Dictate, as well as the Nazi occupation of the country in March 1944, are key moments in the history of the Jews of Bihor County—a history marked by exclusion from social, cultural, and economic life, prohibitions, restrictions, violence, torture, deportations, and separations.
The life stories of the Roma in the county, who were deported in the summer of 1942, are also an integral part of the county’s dark history.
