Imagini din trecut. Holocaustul în Dâmbovița
Images of the Past. The Holocaust in Dâmbovița county

The confiscation of businesses, bans on leaving the city, the expulsion of students from schools, forced labor in camps, and deportation to Transnistria—these are just a few “scenes from the past” that illustrate the reality experienced by Jews and Roma in Dâmbovița County more than 80 years ago. A reality that seems distant to us, that may seem fictional, but which is part of the history of the communities to which we belong.
